Back at home and still unbeaten in Big 12 play, the No. 2 Kansas Jayhawks (17-1 overall, 6-0 conference) look to win their 50th consecutive game at Allen Fieldhouse, against Texas (7-11, 1-5).
So what's the big storyline today? In my mind, it feels like Kansas hasn't played in a very long time (five days). Obviously eyes are on Carlton Bragg and Lagerald Vick after their strong performance against Iowa State. So I'll go with Frank Mason III. He banged up his knee in the last game and I'm interested to see if there will be any lingering effects.
Longhorns are on a 4-game losing streak. Leading scorer Tevin Mack is expected to still be under an indefinite suspension for a violation of team rules.
For those interested, KU is a 17-point favorite today.
Sherron Collins, who was at practice this week, is in the house today.
Texas starters: Jacob Young, Eric Davis, Kerwin Roach, Jarrett Allen, Shaquille Cleare.
Five minutes on the scoreboard. On a scale of 1-10, what's the nervous level for a Texas upset today?
Josh Jackson just drilled Lagerald Vick in the face with a pass in the layup line. Laughs from the rest of the team.

Texas wins the tip and we are underway...
Texas turnover leads to Devonte Graham 3-pointer.
Two turnovers from Shaquille Cleare in two possessions.
Mason's knee looks fine as he drills a 3-pointer from the corner.
Josh Jackson tried too hard to reach for a steal. Called for his first foul with 18:39 left in the 1st half.
