Game blog: No. 1 Kansas at Texas Tech
-
Williams misses a quality look for TT, Ellis slams it on the other end. KU's veterans helping them start on the road well in a tough environment. Selden fed Ellis perfectly.
-
-
Mason way too quick off the bounce for TT to stop him, but misses a layup.
-
-
Hunter Mickelson has 2 fouls and Landen Lucas is in the game. Might be another low-minute night for the starter.
-
-
Lucas blocks a shot and contests another well on one defensive possession. Trying to play like Mickelson. That wouldn't be a bad thing for KU.

KU has missed 5 straight shots, is 2 of 8 from the floor early at Texas Tech. Tied at 4. #kubball

Out of the timeout, Graham gets Lucas the ball in the paint and the big man draws the foul. Lucas goes 1 of 2 at the line.
-
Self might have to play all the bigs tonight if Tech keeps drawing fouls inside. Lucas whistled for his 1st. Mickelson already on the bench with 2.
-
big men getting in foul trouble. Looks like we might be seeing some diallo tonight
-
-
Lucas gets his 2nd foul and will take a seat. Red Raiders have freed Diallo. He's in before Bragg tonight.
-
Mason pulls up for 3 as KU pushes off the rebound and misses. Ellis gets an offensive rebound, but KU turns it over in the half-court set as Mason tries to pass it to Diallo.

-
Cheick would of had a dunk if he'd rolled to the hoop hard.
-
5 fouls called on Kansas a little less than 6 minutes in. Tech getting to the FT line, which is basically its offense. Red Raiders 3 of 4 at the stripe.
-
Mason 3 from the right corner is KU's first hit from deep on 4th attempt.
-
Wow, even Brannen Greene is picking up quick fouls. He has 2 and will take a seat. Svi checks in.
-
Graham tried a runner after attacking from the right wing, but air-balled it from about 12 feet away.
-
KU 4 of 12 from the floor. Down 11-10 after Ross scores a layup over Diallo.
-
-
Mason tracked down his own miss for KU's 3rd offensive rebound but Graham couldn't connect on a 3.
-
Mason holds his left elbow after crashing to the floor, drawing a foul, getting to the FT line. Jumped back up pretty quickly, though.
-
-
-
-
-
Svi doesn't hesitate as KU pushes the ball, drains a 3 from the right wing. That's a good sign for Kansas.
-
-
-
-
Svi follows his 3 with a steal, which gets KU out in transition. Selden wanted to put up a highlight dunk but Justin Gray wasn't having it, swatted it on the chase-down from behind.
